Going Wifi

March 28th, 2010

My sister and I decided to share an apartment to save on cost. That means, not just sharing the space but everything that goes with it - and that includes internet access. Having wires hanging all over the place so we can both get connected rather makes the place looks rather weird and unpretty so we decided to check on wifi routers so we can both get connected without the monstrous wiring.

We are not technically good so we had to search the net for the best wireless router at a reasonable price. One of the routers I came across with is the Belkin N1 Wireless Router which seems to work really great. I also came across the D-Link DI-624 XtremeG and Linksys FENSK05 EtherFast that both seem to have what I need at a very affordable price of $25-40.

Still quite a tough choice - should I go all out with the Belkin or go cheap with the basics? I guess, I have to talk to my sister about this.
