The Perfect Bathroom

December 22nd, 2010

Years ago my family is satisfied with a small bathroom, as long it has a toilet flush. But now that we’re building a new home, we want to have a better bathroom. We don’t just want a toilet flush; we want a bigger bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub where we can relax, a walk in shower, nice bathroom furniture and more. Luckily I saw the site of betterbathrooms.com; they have a wide range of products that we can choose from to finally have our perfect bathroom.

One thing that I notice from Better bathrooms is that they have great products on special offer. And who doesn’t want special offers? Since we’re near Manchester we are planning to check their showroom, so we can have a better look of the products that we have already chosen online just to make sure that every product blends well when together. Most of their products are in stock, so I think having my chosen products won’t be a problem. I’m a bit concerned with the delivery, but good thing they have a call center and an order tracker where I can check the status of my much awaited products. Hopefully, we can get to Manchester before the year ends and have our bathroom ready early next year.

Going Wifi

March 28th, 2010

My sister and I decided to share an apartment to save on cost. That means, not just sharing the space but everything that goes with it – and that includes internet access. Having wires hanging all over the place so we can both get connected rather makes the place looks rather weird and unpretty so we decided to check on wifi routers so we can both get connected without the monstrous wiring.

We are not technically good so we had to search the net for the best wireless router at a reasonable price. One of the routers I came across with is the Belkin N1 Wireless Router which seems to work really great. I also came across the D-Link DI-624 XtremeG and Linksys FENSK05 EtherFast that both seem to have what I need at a very affordable price of $25-40.

Still quite a tough choice – should I go all out with the Belkin or go cheap with the basics? I guess, I have to talk to my sister about this.

Working at MicroSourcing

November 20th, 2008

Last September 22, 2008, we were all shocked by the news on the bankruptcy of one of the world’s top financial services firm – the Lehman Brothers. From then on, a lot of depressing news came out about the world’s economy. The world is now experiencing a economic slowdown or economic meltdown as others may call it.

In the past few days more and more companies close down, cut on cost, and more and more people lose their jobs.

This economic slowdown has a tremendous effect on the lives of a lot of people, not limited to the US citizens. It affects all countries, from first world to the third world.

What is the effect of this economic meltdown to the Filipino people? A lot of BPOs now are also retrenching a lot of employees. Termination happens by the hundreds or even thousands. This happened in the company I worked for, although ours is a bit of a different story.

I have worked for various companies before, and by far, MicroSourcing is the best company – in all aspects. I have a great boss who treats everyone fairly and who is also rather friendly. He has a bright mind and a heart for his employees. When this tragedy struck us, his first concern were the 110 people to whom we promised a job. The client informed us six days before the starting date of the project that they will have to postpone it until January of next year.

Just today, he has written a memo addressed to everyone, trying to imbibe a positive spirit to everyone.

It was tough for everyone, but with his honesty, employees felt relieved for they know that they have a General Manager who is honest and who will take care of them.

MicroSourcing
may feel the depression that the world is feeling right now, but it is always comforting to be in a company that does business with integrity and with a good heart.

If I’m asked to name one person who doesn’t like music, I can think for hours but would come up with no answer. All of my friends, relatives even casual acquaintances don’t just like but even love music. Almost all of us watch music videos; buy albums, listen to radio and mp3 players.

One of the best inventions for music lovers is the mp3 player. We can listen to our favorite songs and watch music videos anywhere. It’s easy to download from our computers and store our photos. MP3 player is your entertainment center right in your pocket

Vaporizing

November 15th, 2007

You cannot quit smoking but you are aware of the health risks it poses on you? Vaporizing can be an alternative for smoking minus the health risks. Vaporizing releases the active ingredients of plant materials such as tobacco and cannabis. Unlike smoking which produces numerous harmful by-products such as tar and carbon monoxide, in vaporizing, the material is heated ideally at 180 degrees Celsius. In the process, the active compounds contained in the plant melt and phase into an aromatic vapor. The vapor contains zero particulate material and less carbon monoxide. To vaporize, you will of course, need a vaporizer. One common type of vaporizer is the Volcano Vaporizer.

A vaporizer is defined as an atomizer. It converts water or a medicated liquid into vapor for inhalation. There are basically two types of vaporizer. One is the simple vaporizer which uses a lighter as heat source. The other type is the precise vaporizer which uses an electric heating element and often features a temperature control. Another way to classify vaporizers is by how they heat the substance: by conduction or by convection.
