Vaporizing

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

You cannot quit smoking but you are aware of the health risks it poses on you? Vaporizing can be an alternative for smoking minus the health risks. Vaporizing releases the active ingredients of plant materials such as tobacco and cannabis. Unlike smoking which produces numerous harmful by-products such as tar and carbon monoxide, in vaporizing, the material is heated ideally at 180 degrees Celsius. In the process, the active compounds contained in the plant melt and phase into an aromatic vapor. The vapor contains zero particulate material and less carbon monoxide. To vaporize, you will of course, need a vaporizer. One common type of vaporizer is the Volcano Vaporizer.

A vaporizer is defined as an atomizer. It converts water or a medicated liquid into vapor for inhalation. There are basically two types of vaporizer. One is the simple vaporizer which uses a lighter as heat source. The other type is the precise vaporizer which uses an electric heating element and often features a temperature control. Another way to classify vaporizers is by how they heat the substance: by conduction or by convection.
