One of the most popular form of cosmetic surgery is rhinoplasty or nose surgery. Each year, thousands of people undergo nose surgery either for cosmetic purposes or to alleviate some nasal breathing problems, correct deformities, or support an aging, drooping nose.

When done for cosmetic purposes, nasal surgery aims to refine the shape of the nose and bring it into balance with the other facial features. Though a slight alteration of the nose can have a great effect on a person’s appearance, it doesn’t guarantee that you will have the perfect profile. Before going through a surgery, it is important to have a realistic understanding about the limitations and risks of the procedure. People who are below 16 years old are not candidates for nasal surgery, unless it is for medical reasons like severe breathing impairment.
