Everybody dreams of a great wedding. Who will not when it is the beginning of your life together. Though the amount you spend on your wedding is not really an indicator of the kind of life you will have once you are married. Some couples spend lots of money just to have that dream wedding, yet end up being separated. Some spend less, yet they stayed together for a very very long time. Like in most things, having a dream wedding on a budget is only a matter of planning. In general, weddings should be planned a year before the wedding day. Then, you can start your meeting with the suppliers, vendors, and perhaps, your coordinator. You also have to learn how to bargain. Normally, suppliers charge a bit higher so that they have some allowance for bargaining. Start asking for a 50% discount, then you can meet halfway. The legal and church requirements are also time consuming. So, if you plan to marry in 2008, better start now.
